As the first nationwide list prepared for submission to the armistice meeting during the war, it contains name, gender, age, occupation, workplace, job position, date of abduction, place of abduction and the last known address. American ambassador to Korea Muccio sent a top secret letter to the State Dept., in which he reported, “the Korean Ministry of Home Affairs informed that provinces of Gyeong-gi and North Gyeong-sang had completed preparation of the lists while the ministry would urge the remaining provinces to expedite making the lists.”
