On the 18th the Republic of Korea delegation was preparing to challenge North Korea to respect the UN charter by repatriating the 80,000 civilians they abducted during the Korean War. At the same time on the night of the 18th, the Republic of Korea delegation submitted the Korean issue to the UN Special Political Committee. The night of the 17th the issue was introduced but the chairperson immediately announced an adjournment, so this time they formed a strategy to prevent the failure of the night before.

According to the schedule, the regular meeting is set to open on April 21st. The South Korean representatives have abandoned thoughts that the Korean issue might get a full-on discussion.
