While in the 『Korean War Abductions Source Book Vol. 1』, part I
contains 57 testimonies of remaining families of the abductees
during the Korean War and 70 testimonies in the 『Korean War Abductions Source
Book Vol. 2』, there were still many stories of other families unprinted and
that's how 『Korean War Abductions Source Book Vol. 3』 came into being.

In this book, two recently found documents are introduced, one of which is 『Persons Arrested in Seoul by the North Koreans』produced and obtained by CIA in Oct. 15, 1950. It is a list of Seoul area residents who were arrested by the North Korean authorities during their occupation of Seoul and whose fate was unknown as of 15 October, 1950. The other is the English translation of the declaration issued by KWAFA (Korean War Abductees Family Association) after they held the "Convention for rescuing the Korean War Abductees" at Deoksu Palace on August 12, 1953. It was discovered from Britain's National Archives by Marek Hańderek of IPN, Poland.
