Mulmangcho badges on the heart of all citizens
Please don't forget the abductees

¡°We sincerely hope that all abductees, including POWs, along with Shin Suk-ja and her daughter, can come back as these mulmangcho badges bloom in the hearts of all Koreans.¡±

The Korean War Abductees¡¯ Family Union (KWAFU) held a press conference in front of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul on the 25th and said it will hold the Nation-wide Campaign to Wear Mulmangcho (Forget-me-not) Badges until the 30th. By distributing the mulmangcho (forget-me-not) badges, KWAFU aims to remember those taken to the North and make efforts to repatriate them. The campaign will continue in front of exit 7 of Gwanghwamun station from 10 am to 6 pm until the 30th.

KWAFU President Lee Mi-il said, ¡°North Korea is a criminal group specialized in abduction which took 100,000 South Korean civilians during the Korean War and many more after the war from Korea, Japan, and other countries.

To address the issue of abduction, remembering them is the most important factor.¡± 10 members of the National Assembly, including Hwang Woo-yea, floor leader of the Grand National Party, and Park Seon-yeong member of the National Assembly of the Liberty Forward Party, participated in the press conference.
