Peculiarity of the abduction; The Korean War abduction's criminality and continuity
Korean War abduction is still ongoing crime;
In a war, many and unspecified civilians become subject to incidental damages, deaths or injuries, described as force majeure. The wartime abduction by the north, however, is an obvious wartime crime as then North Korean Premier Kim Il-sung and his Labor Party had elaborately planned it in advance, and selectively abducted necessary manpower in the entire area of the South under its occupation, taking advantage ofspecial circumstances of war. Despite its criminal acts committed in the past, it has yet to inform the fate of the abductees to their families. For the abductees' family members, the war has yet to end as they continue to suffer from lack of information on the fate of their beloved ones.
